The Fish Head Nebula (IC 1795)
Finally got some good weather and a new project in the wraps on IC 1795 often called the Fish Head Nebula. It’s a portion of a much larger set of nebulae in Cassiopeia roughly 6,000 light-years away. This oen sits next to the larger Heart Nebula and Melotte 15 another project I worked on in 2020.
This project wraps up about ~34 hrs of total integration time across all 3 filters and is rendered in the Hubble (SHO) pallet. Gotta say for a year of such bad weather this is probably my best project of 2021.
